Since his fans are spread throughout the world, he decided to record his very first live performance for those that couldn’t make it to one of his acoustic shows in 2003.

Imagine dark, almost tribal, rhythms permeated by layers of sympathetic guitars, trance-inducing synthesizers, and the most pained and powerful vocals you have ever heard. You are imagining Soren's debut album, The Dying Man.

This recording is a very rough and slightly overdriven two track recording of the band rehearsing for their first public performance, which would be at a house party later that same night. Some may notice and appreciate confirmation that, indeed, Soren was suffering from a very serious head cold and sore throat that night. But please don’t worry; he is feeling much better now! :-)

Some may also find it interesting to know that this recording was made in a basement studio on an eight track recorder.
