Other Interests
I have always had an extremely difficult time limiting my areas of interest. These are some of my stronger interests.
- Integrity, Wisdom, Love
- Nature (observing life as it is)
- Consciousness (awareness of truth)
- Nature of Life (understanding life as it is)
- States of Mind (inner peace is my favorite)
- Healing (there are so many ways to release resistance)
- Change (if there is no change, there is no time or energy)
- Metaphysics (we are one and our nature is indeed mysterious)
- Energy Behavior (I love oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other instruments.)
- EMF Creation, Manipulation, Modulation, Transmission, and Reception
Note: I am primarily an experimenter and designer. I do have an FCC radio license, but I am very rarely on air. - Electrical Engineering (I prefer the analog domain, but digital control has its advantages.)
- Permaculture systems design and creative, sustainable living in all forms
- Restoring old homes and other buildings.
Note: I restored my first home, a late-1800s Victorian, in my early 20s. In my early 40s, I built an "off the grid" 120sf experimental micro home in rural Washington state. My current home is a vintage Victorian that I restored in my late 40s. - Restoring and Riding Bicycles, Motorcycles, and Automobiles (and Sailboats too!)
Note: I'd love to have a Volvo P1800 and/or older Jaguar XJ6 (Series I) to play with. That said, my all-time favorite vehicle to actually drive daily will probably always be a Jeep Wrangler 4x4 (the best convertible ever), which I presently own. - Restoring and Playing Guitars, Synthesizers, etc. (the older the better)
Note: I love talking shop... from Ric to Sequential - Audio Engineering (need someone to record or mix your songs?)
- Music Production (need someone to produce your songs?)
- Movie Production (what do you have in mind?)
- Photography (rarely make time for this)
- Art (very rarely make time for this)
- Experiencing "dark and beautiful" art, photography, movies, and music
Note: My musical taste is epitomized by (but not limited by) "Dead Can Dance" - Of all the places I've ever visited, I find India to be the most interesting of them all
